Frequently asked questions.

Does Green Echo Consulting offer refunds?

Because of the nature of on-demand services, we only offer partial refunds for contracts and projects that are planned to last 20 days or more. For these contracts, half of the contract is expected to be paid up front, with the second invoice billed to the client halfway through the project, where there will be an opportunity to review client satisfaction with the service in a summary/progress report meeting when the contract is halfway complete. If the client wishes to terminate their service with Green Echo Consulting, then they will not be liable for the second invoice, at which point Green Echo Consulting will also cease ongoing work on the contract. We do not offer any kind of refund for days already worked on by Green Echo Consulting. We do offer a complete refund for projects that fail to reach delivery to the client, however we reserve our right not to be liable for the outcome of deliverables (i.e., working with a business in the B-Corp application process, but the company goes on to fail the application).

How much does it cost to contract Green Echo Consulting?

The cost will always be uniquely shaped by the scope of the project required by the client. This is why we always start with a free introductory consultation where we estimate the scope of what wants to be achieved, and then present a GANTT chart that clearly states the time frames and resources required. As a rule, we price our projects on the basis of [# of agents required] x [# of days required]. These variables are subject to change depending on the unique specialisation required by the business (i.e., whether the client needs an outsourced EMS manager, resource for social media communications, or a specialised and qualified ISO consultant for compliance issues).

If my objectives or the scope of work changes for an ongoing contract, how does this affect my contracted work with Green Echo Consulting? (including late delivery of contracted work)

We are aware that unexpected scenarios can arise during the course of a project. Whether that is the late delivery of contracted work, or the introduction of new steps, requirments or compliances. In every instance, Green Echo Consulting aims to address and resolve issues, transparently, as soon as they become apparent. If there is a new requirement from the client, this will need to be introduced by modifying the scope of the client’s contract with GEC (i.e., after contracting us for consulting, the client also wishes to pursue an adjacent service such as B-Corp Application), this will have to be added on separately from the existing project, which may also incur additional fees if it expands the scope of the work.

In the unlikely scenario that Green Echo Consulting appears to be running late with a deliverable, we will notify you as soon as it becomes apparent that this is the case, as well as providing a new provisional deliverable date as promptly as possible. In this scenario, Green Echo Consulting will not charge the excess of additional days required for the completion of the project.
